Welcome To My Site!

This site is dedicated to my love of photography, something I am happy and excited to share with all of you. I hope you will get as much enjoyment out of these photos as I have had in taking them.

You may browse the site using the navigation system to the left by clicking on a category and selecting one of the sub-categories that appears. That will take you to a page of related thumbnail photos, any of which can be clicked to show you a larger version of that photo. You may also navigate the entire site in order - forward and backward - by using the "Previous" & "Next" links that appear at the bottom of each page.

Because the site is dedicated to photographic images, I have done my best to compress the photos enough to make download times as bearable as possible, without compromising the quality of the images too much. For those of you on a high speed connection such as DSL or Cable, you should not have any problems at all. Those of you who are using a dial up modem may experience slightly longer download times but I hope you will find it's worth the wait!

Just so you know, this site is optimized for the Internet Explorer Browser, at a screen resolution of 800x600 and True (High) Color Display settings.

One final note to AOL users; in order to view these, and most other images properly in the default AOL Browser, you should set your AOL browser preferences to not re-compress the already carefully compressed images on this site. Otherwise, you may experience distortion, blurriness or other visual anomalies that are caused by AOL's default setting. Under My AOL/Preferences/WWW, uncheck 'use compressed images'. It's even better if you can launch a separate browser altogether, such as Internet Explorer (as described above).

Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy the site!

Sincerely,

Jim Wikso
